Candles and diffusers work against the oil. A candle burns it, and heat destroys the most delicate notes. A diffuser dilutes it with water. The Amplifier does neither. It atomises neat oil into micro-particles, so what you smell is the fragrance exactly as it designed by our perfumers in Grasse, France.

Fifteen to twenty drops scents an average room. Because nothing is lost to heat or watered down, you use far less than you'd expect. A bottle lasts around a month with regular use, cheaper than a candle habit and with no wax to throw away.

A full charge gives over 15 hours of continuous diffusion, so it runs cordless all evening and then some. Charge it with the included cable. Being cordless, it isn't tied to a socket, so it sits wherever it looks best.

It's built for Droplet's oils, cut to the viscosity the amplifier needs to atomise properly. Thicker carrier oils and blends can clog it, which is what the six-scent set is for. If you try another, keep to pure, uncut fragrance oil.

Easily. Run it empty for a few seconds to clear the line, then wipe the glass with a dry cloth or a little alcohol. No wax residue, nothing to scrape. You can go from Fig Leaf to Orange Blossom in under a minute.

No flame, no hot surface, so the two things that make candles a worry are gone. It's cool to the touch throughout. Keep the oils out of reach, use it in a ventilated room, and don't leave it running unattended overnight.
